Program Description
The Interior Universities Research Coalition (IURC) BC Interior Region Seed Grant Research Fund is seeking to encourage inter-institutional research, in health-related areas, between researchers at TRU, UNBC and UBC (Okanagan), and foster collaboration with Ministry of Health on research-related program areas.
Seeking research relating to the following questions identified by the Ministry:
- What are the localized (i.e., regional or sub-regional) climate-related risks to small water and wastewater systems in BC?
- How can we build health system resilience against climate events in BC that would also build resilience against other health-related events (e.g., pandemics)?
- What are effective community-based health and climate vulnerability assessments in rural, remote and northern populations?
