Program Description

This program has been paused by Health Research BC. There will be no 2026 competition.

The Health Professional-Investigator (HP-I) program supports health professionals (e.g. MD, RN, PT) to develop and advance research with the goal of bringing research evidence into practice within the health system. The HP-I awards support health professionals who are actively involved in patient care to build their health research programs, train the next generation of scientists, and make significant contributions to their field.
